What was the highlight of Osaka View Hotel Honmachi
A little bit of a let down. We came from Hilton Hiroshima where we paid much less money for much larger room, so it was
Central location, good connection to metro lines (train stations, EXPO). Room was as ordered and no issues with the staff. AC was working good, water pressure and temperature good.
Very limited breakfast options. Don’t accept payment for luggage transfer (all other hotels we stayed in accepted cash or card), so we were not able to send luggage to another hotel from this hotel. Street racing in the neighborhood every night of our stay, quite loud. Refrigerator with compressor in the room, quite noisy, typically hotels use fridges without compressor. There is currently a skyscraper construction in progress next to this building, so on work days 7-17 very noisy. It seemed the room was 15% smaller than advertised, measured using iPhone Pro measurement tool and rule of thumb.

What was the highlight of Osaka View Hotel Honmachi
3 night stay in Osaka
Staff are helpful and friendly. Located close to Hommachi station, the hotel is in a peaceful business area. Starbucks and other Cafés/ restaurants are spread out around the area within walking distance. My only dislike is the size of the room. It is very difficult to set out luggage from two people and walk around the room. Very limited space, but I guess that's to be expected.

Wonderful
Great family room on the 19th floor, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children , free amenities were a nice touch. Kids slept on futons on the floor which was a bit of fun. They delivered 4 bottles of water every morning with room clean which was great. The hotel staff booked a taxi for us for an early start to USJ 5 mins walk to Honmachi station so very accessible to main attractions
The hotel is in a district that is very commercial , so whilst it was close to station and Dontonburi it lacked a bit of charm. We were charged an extra tax despite our booking.com fare stating it was inclusive of tax. Some of the staff didn’t speak English so it made some of the communication quite difficult

What was the highlight of Osaka View Hotel Honmachi
Wonderful
We booked the room with tatami floor and city view, it was an awesome experience. The room was spacious enough considering it's in a Japanese city but it's comfortable for family of 3 or 4. The staff was friendly. Exit to Honmachi station is about 200-300m so it's very convenient. Overall, I would highly recommended this place. Standing in front of the fountain and look at the autumn leaf gave me a really nice feeling
